About sad.chat
A quiet place for a heavy day: something practical to read, and somewhere to put the feeling into words.
What is here
The guides answer the questions people type when they feel sad: why it happens for no clear reason, what to do on a lonely evening, how to get through the first weeks after a breakup, how grief changes over time, what to say to a friend who is low. Each one gives a small thing to try and says plainly when it is time to see a GP or a counsellor.
Wren is an AI you can talk things through with. It listens, it says it is an AI, and it gives a helpline straight away if a conversation turns to danger.
How guides are written
- Facts about mood, sleep, grief and loneliness come from public health services and published research, and each guide links to its sources.
- No guide diagnoses, rates your symptoms or discusses medication.
- Nothing is sponsored, and no guide recommends an app or a paid service.
Who runs it
sad.chat is built and paid for by the Arrivau team. It is not a healthcare provider, a counselling service or a crisis service, and nobody on the team reads chat conversations as they happen.
